Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a global health challenge that affects
5%–50% of the population worldwide [1, 2]. In recent years, the
incidence and prevalence of AR have been reported to increase.
In Asia, the prevalence of AR among adults in China increased
by 6.5% from 2005 to 2011 [3].
